Who uses John services ? What can he do ??
John has been featured in Hot Rod Magazine, Hemmings Muscle Machines, Musclecar Enthusiast and a featured full page article in the Chicago Tribune Transportation section and has been written about in Diecast X magazine for his Nash Bridges and Joe Mannix creations in diecast. John has created cars for Hot Rod Magazine, John Ligenfelter and Eleanor from Gone in 60 Seconds.

Depending on your needs, from something as simple as adding a vinyl top and tire and wheel swaps to creating a year car thats not produced he can probably handle it.
John uses only Dupont Automotive Basecoat/Clearcoat paint for the most professional finish available . John uses only Dupont interior paints for all interior color changes. John mixes all our colors in house and uses NO aerosol cans or any hobby shop products for painting vehicles.
The standard cost of just a repaint is $225.00-$250.00 depending on the starter car. This price does not include the starter car which he can provide if needed. The average project including the car and all the most common work ordered runs about $450.00. But depending on whats needed, some can be as inexpensive as $50.00 or can run as high as $2000.00.
The average repaint project takes approximately 8-10 weeks to complete with the more detailed ones taking a year or more in some cases.
John supplies each customer with a contract that includes the information about what he is doing to create your replica and what he is charging you for. Upon completion he will email pictures of your completed replica to you for approval.
The picture below will allow you to see how his work area is set up. Note that all the bins on the table on the upper right are customer projects in process. There are the same amount on the left side tables also. This is where the main work is done. Boxes under the tables are all filled with parts cars.

Below you will see his spray booth built just for this business. This booth is rebuilt every year and this was taken just after the last rebuild. John uses 2 rear draft fans to keep dust to a minimum. All vehicles are sprayed on the turntable seen so he can apply even paint to all surfaces. Three 100 watt light bulbs provide more than enough light to see everything clearly.

From stripes to engine swaps, custom hoods, interior repaints, conversions from automatics to 4 spd and visa versa. John can also make most any car into a convertible and some convertibles into a hardtop. When he says, the possibilities are endless, he means it.
John says he's a car dealer, junkyard, bodyshop in 1/18 scale diecast and this will give you an idea why. This is what he calls his junkyard, actually these are parts cars and part of the business that fill the boxes pictured above.

Please note that he does start each project with a NEW car and NOT a junk one. These were used for different parts for other customers cars.
John uses the finest 1/18 scale diecast cars available when creating a replica and feature these manufacturers.
